Updating Portainer on Synology NAS

Open Container Manager and Check for Updates

  1. Log in to your Synology DSM.
  2. Open the Container Manager package.
  3. Click Image on the left sidebar.
  4. Locate the Portainer image and check if an update is available.
  5. If an update is available, click Update available.

Update the Portainer Image

  1. Click Update and then confirm by clicking Update again.
  2. Wait for the image update to complete.

    • Click on the container, go to Action, and select Start.

  2. Enter http://your-synology-ip:9000 into the address bar.
  3. Log in using your existing Username and Password.
  4. Check the version.
